Advanced electrolysis, or Advanced Cosmetic Procedures (ACP), is a highly precise, safe, and effective treatment that uses short-wave diathermy (high-frequency electrical current) to remove minor skin blemishes like skin tags, milia, blood spots, and thread veins. It works by cauterising the lesion’s blood supply, causing it to wither and disappear, often in one session. 

Key Aspects of Advanced Electrolysis

• Blemishes Treated: Effective for skin tags, moles (if cleared by a doctor), telangiectasia (red veins), blood spots (Campbell de Morgan spots), milia, and sebaceous hyperplasia.
• Methodology: A very fine, sterile, single-use needle (probe) is used to deliver a tiny current to the target area.
